Description

Research, teaching, career planning, family - and last but not least one's own needs: all this is not easy for young researchers to reconcile. In order to meet the different demands, good self-organisation on the one hand and self-care on the other are indispensable.

Against the backdrop of the demands of the science system as well as your individual family situation, this small group coaching session will give you the opportunity, among other things:

  • to reflect on your personal situation in exchange with other female academics who have a family or wish to have children,
  • become aware of your own values and needs,
  • examine priorities and goals and, if necessary, set them differently
  • find out about support

The workshop is aimed at doctoral students and postdocs who have children or wish to have children. It addresses the topic with a mix of input, discussion and tasks with a high proportion of self-reflection. The small group offers space for intensive exchange of experiences among the participants.

Discrimination-sensitive workshop. All family forms and constellations are welcome.
