This workshop aims at preparing doctorate candidates for their defense. They will be introduced into formal regulations and frameworks, procedures and typical settings in a defense. Thinking on their feet during the questions and answers session as well as responding strategies to typical defense-questions will also be practiced in simulated scenarios.
The 1st workshop day contains relevant input and is mandatory for all participants. On the 2nd workshop day, the participants will be divided into 2 small groups (morning and afternoon) to actively carry out a defense situation.
This results in a total of 1.5 workshop days per participant.
