 tainability transformation" aims at ICSS MSc students and SICSS doctoral c
 andidates and takes place on tba.\n \nThe course lectures are Prof. Dr. J
 ana Sillmann (UHH) and Dr. Franziska Gaupp (University Osnabrück).\nTher
 e will be a brief (online) introduction prior to the course (tba\, you re
 ceive the zoom link after your registration).\nLearning outcomes:\nThe stu
 dents will have experienced a range of participatory and transdisciplinary
  approaches to transform information about climate change and sustainabili
 ty into impulses for action. The students will have learned about tools to
  build agency in sustainability transformation.\nContents:\nThe gap betwee
 n knowledge and action regarding climate change and sustainable developmen
 t is one of the biggest challenges the climate and sustainability communit
 y is currently facing. This course uses innovative\, transdisciplinary app
 roaches to collectively explore the implications of climate change and sus
 tainability\, experiment with a range of sense-making practices and derive
  impulses for action. Educational interventions are more effective in tran
 slating knowledge into action when they increase collective efficacy and c
 reate a sense of relevance and interconnectedness. Through this course\, s
 tudents will develop ownership and create agency regarding possible steps 
 towards a sustainable future. The course is highly participatory and uses 
 creative\, innovative methods such as dialogue\, art and embodiment. It us
 es transdisciplinary approaches such as Theory U\, Warm Data Labs or Art o
 f Hosting.\nPlease notice that a succesful course participation requests a
  full attendance of all three days and self-organized work in between.\nA
