CARAT-Workshop 2025 in Bern, Switzerland
We are pleased to announce that the CARAT-Workshop 4 will take place on October 17-18, 2025, in Bern, Switzerland. The workshop will feature two full days of insightful discussions, networking, and presentations on the latest developments in medical X-ray applications. Therefore, we suggest arriving in Bern on October 16th and departing on October 19th.
Workshop Focus: There are specific medical X-ray applications that are currently being investigated. X-ray Fluorescence Imaging (XFI) and microbeam radiotherapy are two examples for new medical procedures that would benefit from novel X-ray beam sources. Thus, we invite researchers from both science and industry to join us in identifying possible applications, pioneering new research directions and partnerships, and gain an overview of ongoing research projects.
Preliminary Agenda: The agenda is not yet finalized, but we plan to feature talks on clinical oncology, preclinical research, photon mini- and micro beams, and X-ray fluorescence imaging. We will also host a match-making marketplace format to facilitate collaboration, networking, and discuss funding opportunities.
