The Arctic land-ocean carbon cycle and its role in the remaining global carbon budget

This workshop brings together scientists and representatives from policy, ministries, and non-governmental organizations to explore the Arctic land-ocean carbon cycle and its role in the global carbon budget. Through keynote talks and discussions, participants will assess current and future Arctic carbon fluxes, their uncertainties, and policy implications, with a focus on science-to-policy transfer.

This event is co-organized by the University of Hamburg and the German Environment Agency (UBA), with fundings from the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV).
