DESCRIPTION:QTCat is a workshop on category theory taken in a broad sense\
 , run by and for queer and trans people. It aims to showcase the research 
 done in this field by the queer and trans community\, bringing together pe
 ople working with category theory in fields such as mathematics\, physics\
 , philosophy\, computer science and logic\, both within and outside of aca
 demia\, to discuss topics of common interest in a non-competitive environm
 ent.\nAlongside the workshop\, an exploratory program on queer category th
 eory and inclusion will take place. The activities of the program will foc
 us on exploring what it means to do category theory as a queer or trans pe
 rson\, and if there is such a thing as queer category theory. It will also
  address the question of how to make the working culture and environment m
 ore welcoming and diverse\, and will aim to initiate concrete actions in t
 his regard.\nThis workshop welcomes talks by early-career researchers\, es
 pecially by self-identifying queer and trans people. Please indicate on th
 e application form if you would like to give a talk and on what topic. Ple
 ase also indicate if you agree to your talk being live-streamed and record
 ed.\nThe event is open to everyone who accepts the community agreement (wh
 ich will be based upon Oberwolfach's Statement of Respect and Collegiality
 \, taking suggestions from the participants into account). Some activities
  in the program will be reserved for self-identifying queer and trans peop
 le.\nTo encourage the participation of young researchers facing increased 
 financial burden\, such as researchers from developing countries\, a small
  number of funded places will probably be available. Please indicate in yo
 ur application for which type of financial support you would like to be co
