 celli\, PhD\nVenue: UHH campus at Von-Melle-Park 5\, room 4018\nThis pract
 ical course with focus on scientific computing and data analysis will bui
 ld upon the introductory Python course by Dr. Fabrizio Damicelli that took
  place in November 2025. The participants will improve their understanding
  of Python and further enhance their software engineering skills and best 
 practices.\n \nThe course will combine explanations and hands-on exercise
 s\, as well as integrative mini-projects to consolidate the concepts. \n 
 \nPrior knowledge and additional info: \n·      Basic Python knowled
 ge is required \n·   Participation in the introductory course in Novembe
 r 2025 is not a prerequisite\, however: \no   Participants are requested
  to go through the “Recap” sections from the free online material spec
 ified in the attached programme ahead of the course\no   Additionally\, 
 the course will include “Recap” sections at the start\no  To further 
 ensure any issues are resolved beforehand\, an optional 1-hour Zoom sessio
 n will be offered by Fabrizio Damicelli ca. 1 week ahead of the course to

 celli holds a PhD in computational science from the Institute of Computati
 onal Neuroscience at UKE. He currently works as a Data Scientist at one of
