DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Alexandra Franzke (SICSS)\, Berit Hachfeld (Universi
tät Hamburg)\n\nLet’s talk about interdisciplinary research!Join fellow
Early Career Researchers from CLICCS for two half days of reflection\, ex
 change\, and future-oriented inspiration.\n\nThis year's ECR Retreat will
focus on interdisciplinarity and working together in CLICCS.\nTogether\, w
e will explore what interdisciplinary research means in practice\, how dif
ferent disciplinary perspectives can complement and challenge one another\
, and how we can make the most of the diversity of expertise within CLICCS
.\nThe retreat will be interactive and participatory. Through discussions\
, practical exercises and exchange with colleagues from different discipli
nes and projects\, we will reflect on:\n\nwhat makes interdisciplinary col
laboration work and what makes it difficult\,\nhow different disciplines a
pproach questions\, methods and evidence\,\nwhere we see connections and o
pportunities across CLICCS\,\nwhat we can learn from experiences such as t
he Hamburg Thought Experiment\,\nhow to develop an interdisciplinary profi
le while maintaining disciplinary depth\, visibility and career opportunit
ies\,\nand how we can turn interesting connections into potential future c
ollaborations.\n\nWe will also use the CLICCS Conceptual Map to explore wh
ere our own work is situated within the wider CLICCS research landscape an
d where we might connect with other projects\, disciplines and perspective
s.\nThe retreat is therefore intended to be a space to meet colleagues\, e
xchange experiences\, ask questions\, try things out and think together. Y
ou will have opportunities to reflect on your own research and career\, bu
t also to work with others and develop ideas beyond your immediate project
.\nThe program is currently being finalised and may still change slightly.
\nBe ready to engage\, exchange ideas\, and connect with others across CLI
CCS — and perhaps discover a few unexpected connections along the way..\
 nLet’s reflect – connect – and move forward\, together.\n \n\nhttps
