    Breakout session in the main CSSB lecture theatre where we will hear from institutions that are joining the HALOS family, new funding opportunities for scientific exchange in the Baltic Sea region and lots more.

    This invitation only breakout session is a chance for the team involved in HALOS' regional development WP to discuss their plans for the coming year and beyond.

  • 15:30-16:00 HALOS: to come 2020 and beyond

    In this session we will take a look at what is in store for HALOS in 2020 and beyond

  • 16:00-17:00 Sustainability

    In this session we will look at Sustainability as a topic for research, but also as a challenge that needs to be addressed when engaging in a geographically disperse scientific network such as HALOS. The session will be led by Dr. Claudia Thea Schmitt, the Managing Director and Scientific Coordinator of the Center for a Sustainable University at the Universität Hamburg.

  • 17:00-19:00 Poster Session

    A chance to show off your science, your instrument, you great new idea, or your institute and to see the cool things other HALOS members are up to. Posters will be on display in the CSSB foyer, and there will be some refreshments to keep you going.

  • 19:00-20:30 Buffet

    We'll wrap the day up with a tasty buffet in the CSSB foyer, after which you are free to go and visit the bright lights of Hamburg City Centre.
