Supervisor Training - Good Scientific Practice for supervisors, what shouldn’t you do? - module 6

The MIN Faculty at University of Hamburg supports supervisors and doctoral researchers in navigating the increasingly complex demands of academic supervision. This modular programme is primarily designed for supervisors and co-supervisors within the MIN Faculty, but participants from other faculties and institutions are very welcome to join.

Across eight interactive workshops (3 hours each), participants explore key aspects of effective supervision – from communication and meetings to expectations, conflict management, and good scientific practice. All modules can be attended individually.

Participants who attend at least five modules, including Module 8, receive the certificate “Certified Supervisor”, which can be included in academic CVs. A certificate of attendance is issued for each individual module.
