Call for Abstracts

  • Opening day
  • Submission deadline

We invite researchers, scientists, and practitioners from various institutions to submit their posters for the one-day event "RSE Day, " on July 16, 2025, focused on research software engineering (RSE). This event aims to map the variety of RSE efforts in research institutions within the metropolitan region of Hamburg. It is organized and hosted by the University of Hamburg's Hub of Computing & Data Science (HCDS).
We encourage you to submit posters that highlight the RSE aspect of a research project. Posters should provide a concise overview of the computational methodologies used and the application areas they tackle.
Posters will be displayed during the event, providing presenters with an opportunity to engage with attendees, exchange ideas, and foster collaborations. We will host a total of four lightning talk sessions, and presenters are encouraged to prepare a 4-minute talk that highlights the content of their poster. We explicitly allow the presentation of posters created for other events in the past.
The event will also feature two keynote speeches. Participation is free, but registration is required. Join us in sharing your cutting-edge and applied data science & computation research, expand your network, and contribute to advancing RSE. Submit your abstract today!
We are looking forward to your participation!
